Man shot and robbed

YOUNGSTOWN -- A 34-year-old man was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center after having been shot in the right foot and right back side with a handgun in a robbery on the South Side.
Gregory Solomon of East Florida Avenue told police he was walking on Parkwood Avenue at 7:18 p.m. Friday when he was approached by four men, including the gunman, who emerged from two vehicles.
The gunman began shooting at the ground, with one shot hitting Solomon in the foot. The gunman then demanded he empty his pockets, and he turned over $50 and his keys. The gunman fired again, hitting Solomon in the right side, and then fled.
Police found Solomon lying in front of 1012 Parkwood. Solomon told police he doesn't know any of the four men.
