July 19
Burglary/criminal damaging: A man in the 200 block of East Main Street reported a man kicked his apartment's front door open, and that $300 was missing from the victim's wallet.
Theft: A woman reported a child's bicycle stolen from in front of her residence in the 1000 block of Patricia Drive.
Theft: A man reported two people removed furniture from the front porch of his parents' residence in the 50 block of Townsend Avenue.
July 20
Assault: A woman in the 500 block of Taylor Avenue reported a girl grabbed her 12-year-old daughter's shoulder, arm and throat during a fight.
Criminal damaging: A woman reported her vehicle's passenger-side window broken in the 10 block of South Randolph Avenue.
July 21
Theft: Someone removed a compact-disc player and 30 CDs from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Morris Avenue.
Vandalism: A woman in the 1000 block of Patricia Drive reported someone scratched a threatening message on her vehicle's trunk lid.
Auto theft: A 1989 Geo Spectrum was stolen near Steel Street and Girard Avenue.

July 15
Theft: A man left Smoker Friendly, 3814 Belmont Ave., without paying for 10 cartons of cigarettes.
Theft: Two women reported a man took a prescription bottle containing 24 pain pills from a residence in the 40 block of James Lane.
Breaking and entering: A man returned to discover his apartment in the 3100 block of Hadley Avenue broken into. A wide-screen TV, 56 CDs, various groceries and other property were removed.
July 16
Criminal damaging: Someone broke a trailer's door jamb, in the 10 block of Tuttle Drive, while trying to break into it.
Domestic violence: Police charged a 24-year-old Youngstown man with domestic violence after a woman alleged he slapped her, pulled her hair and pushed her during an argument at their Colonial Drive residence.
Domestic violence: A 27-year-old Youngstown man was charged with domestic violence after a Fifth Avenue woman alleged he locked her out of her residence, grabbed her neck and struck her in the eye during an argument.
Breaking and entering: Someone smashed a glass door to break into a room at Belmont Suites on Belmont Avenue.
Theft: A woman reported her cellular phone stolen while she was at the American Inn Hotel, 1600 Motor Inn Drive.
Breaking and entering: Someone pried open a door at Michael's Landscaping, 1619 Belmont Ave., and removed two backpack blowers, a hand-held blower, three weed trimmers and two gas-powered pruners.
July 17
Arrest: Police charged a 28-year-old Youngstown man with filing a false police report.
Arrest: A 38-year-old Warren man was arrested on one count of failure to appear in court to face a contempt of court charge.
Theft: A man reported landscaping equipment stolen from his residence in the 4100 block of Arms Drive.
Theft: A woman reported two coin sets and 20 bicentennial quarters taken from a closet at her residence in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road.
Assault: A Youngstown man alleged a 48-year-old man struck him in the back of the head with a glass ashtray and threatened to kill the victim when they were at Masters Bar & amp; Grill, 1675 Trumbull Ave.
July 18
Theft: A woman in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive reported her purse, a child's book bag, three birth certificates and three Social Security cards removed from her vehicle.
Criminal damaging: A woman reported two of her father's vehicle's door handles damaged in the 2600 block of Homestead Road.
July 19
Thefts: A Youngstown woman, 26, was charged with two counts of theft and a Youngstown woman, 31, faced three theft charges after merchandise was stolen from Dollar General discount store, Payless Shoesource, Creation Boutique and Fashion Bug in the Liberty Plaza, 3551 Belmont Ave.
Arrest: After being pulled over for making an improper turn, a 23-year-old Youngstown man was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and drug possession (cocaine). Police say they found two packets of suspected cocaine in his possession and a loaded handgun under the driver's seat.
Theft: A man in the 5200 block of Logan Arms Drive reported sending a $2,030 money transfer to purchase a bicycle he ordered over the Internet, and that the item was never shipped.
July 20
Arrest: After a traffic stop, a 32-year-old Youngstown man was charged with resisting arrest. Police alleged he fled the vehicle on foot.
Theft: An employee at Pizza Hut, 3903 Belmont Ave., reported someone stole a delivery bag containing $200 from a delivery vehicle in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive.
Theft: A New York man reported $100 stolen from his wallet, and that his vehicle was used without authorization, while he stayed at the American Inn Hotel.
July 21
Arrests: After a traffic stop on state Route 193, two boys, 16 and 17, and a girl, 17, all of Girard, were charged with curfew violations. The girl also was charged with underage possession of alcohol, and the 17-year-old boy faced charges of underage possession of alcohol and possession of marijuana. Police say they found two cans of beer and a bag of suspected marijuana in the car.
Attempted breaking and entering: A man in the 1300 block of Virginia Trail discovered a rear sliding glass door and mailbox at his residence damaged.
Auto theft: A 1993 Cadillac DeVille was stolen from a parking lot in the 1700 block of Naylor-Lloyd Road.
Vandalism: Someone damaged an apartment's door, several walls and a heating register in the 1700 block of Naylor-Lloyd Road.
Criminal damaging: Someone damaged a light post at a residence in the 1300 block of Stonington Drive.
Vandalism/attempted breaking and entering: Police found a vehicle abandoned after someone used it to strike a front gate at Midwest Money Center, 642 Gypsy Lane, possibly to gain entry to the business.
HUBBARD
July 16
Criminal damaging: A Campbell man reported someone used a key to damage his vehicle's paint in the 40 block of Hillview Drive.
Attempted theft: A woman in the 200 block of Drummond Avenue reported a man came to her residence seeking $25 for nails he said he used to repair her home's spouting, but that she never authorized him to do the work.
July 17
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 50 block of Hillcrest Avenue reported someone spray-painted graffiti on the back of her garage.
July 18
Theft: A woman took a trash can containing various merchandise from Dollar General discount store, 886 W. Liberty St.
Criminal mischief: Someone removed a manhole lid on Myron Street and placed it on the road.
July 20
Stolen check: A Hubbard man was arrested on charges of forgery and receiving stolen property after an employee at Devine's Shop 'n' Save, 529 N. Main St., alleged he tried to cash a stolen check.
POLAND
July 18
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 28-year-old man on a domestic violence charge after his girlfriend alleged he shoved her to the floor and broke several items in their Massachusetts Avenue residence during an argument about money.
July 19
Possible stolen property: A man in the 500 block of North Main Street reported various pieces of mail had been disturbed and possibly stolen.
July 20
Attempted breaking and entering: A woman in the 20 block of Delaware Avenue discovered a shoe mark on a damaged rear door at her residence, as well as a slide lock removed from a wall.
