XBOARDMAN -- St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park provided the setting July 5 as Marikay Blaurock, 314 Melrose Ave., became the bride of Thomas Kilar of the same address.
The Rev. D. Gary Shreckengost officiated at the 11 a.m. ceremony, and later the newlyweds were honored during a reception at The Rosemont in Sharon, Pa.
The bride is a daughter of Joseph and Sandy Varescak, 7440 Toby Court, Fairview, Pa., and Janice and Mark Dewberry, 827 Edenridge Drive. Parents of the groom are Thomas and Marilyn Kilar, 7103 Pine Grove, Hubbard.
Embroidered lace accented by sequins and pearls adorned the bride's white chiffon gown designed with a tank-style bodice and A-line skirt that flowed to a chapel train.
The bride's daughter, Kaitlin Blaurock of Boardman, was honor attendant. Bridesmaid was Brittany Kilar of Hubbard, the groom's daughter. They wore lavender dresses.
Performing the duties of best man was Michael Kilar of Masury, the groom's son. Groomsmen were Scott Blaurock of Boardman, the bride's son, and Benjamin Kilar of Hubbard, the groom's son.
Since returning from a honeymoon to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple live in Boardman.
Mrs. Kilar is employed as the office manager at Roholt Vision Institute. Mr. Kilar is the owner-manager of Kilar Manufacturing Inc. in Hubbard. They attended Youngstown State University.
