XPOLAND -- Lisa Anne Delluomo of Poland became the bride of Matthew Thomas Gomon of Poland during a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. June 28 at Holy Family Church. Monsignor William Connell officiated for the children of Ronald and Patricia Delluomo of Poland and David and Linda Gomon of Milford.
The couple received guests during a reception at The Georgetown, Boardman, then left for a honeymoon in Aruba. They live in Poland.
A silver embroidered bodice and cathedral train highlighted the bride's white satin A-line gown.
Honor attendants were Laurie Keith, the bride's cousin, and Carole Canfield. Bridesmaids were Suzie Knotek, the groom's sister, and Deanna Mordocco, Kelly Kiefer, Beth McElhaney, Allyson Rossetti and Jamie Hovanec. They wore lilac dresses.
Best man was Todd Heywood. Groomsmen were Jeff Sullivan, Gerry Knotek, Jeff Delluomo, Greg Delluomo, Mark Williams, Brian Corvino and Scott Arnold. Ring bearer was Gerry Knotek, the groom's nephew.
Mrs. Gomon, a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education, will graduate in August with a master's from Marygrove College in Michigan. She is a third-grade teacher in Boardman Local Schools.
Mr. Gomon earned a bachelor's degree in business administration at YSU. He is a marketing associate with Sysco Food Services of Cleveland, Bedford Heights.
