XBOARDMAN -- Hawaii was the honeymoon destination of Eric Brandon Slick, 823 Bowman St., Niles, and his bride, the former Angela Marie Pfender, 634 Cathy Ann Drive, who were married by the Rev. Matthew Mankowski at 1:30 p.m. June 21 at St. Charles Church.
The daughter of Elizabeth and Frank Conti of the Cathy Ann Drive address and George Pfender of Canfield and the son of Dana and Janet Slick of the Bowman Street address accepted congratulations during a reception afterward at The Georgetown.
Mr. and Mrs. Slick, graduates of Youngstown State University with bachelor's degrees in biology, are attending the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and are pharmacy interns at Rite Aid Pharmacy, Toledo. They live in Toledo.
The bride wore a strapless, floor-length gown styled with a full skirt and chapel-length train.
Honor attendant was Candice Blackann. Bridesmaid was Cherie Jasso, and junior bridesmaid was Lisa Pfender, the bride's sister. They wore lavender dresses. Flower girls were Alyssa Conti and Kali Pfender, the bride's sisters, and Nicolette Delsander, her cousin.
Luke Gealy, the groom's cousin, performed the duties of best man. Groomsman was Chris Toth, and junior groomsman was Frank Conti, the bride's brother. Ring bearer was Kyle Grover, her cousin, and ushers were Anthony Grover and John Grover, also her cousins.
