AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Cheryl Ford had 14 points, including six in the final four minutes, and added 14 rebounds as the Detroit Shock beat the Cleveland Rockers 74-71 Tuesday.
The win extended Detroit's winning streak to four games and increased its Eastern Conference lead to three games over Charlotte.
Swin Cash and Ruth Riley also scored 14 for Detroit, which had five players in double figures. LaToya Thomas led Cleveland with 17, while Chasity Melvin added 15 points and nine rebounds.
