Western Pennsylvania Racing Associates LLC laid out its plan for the 154-acre thoroughbred racetrack proposed for Big Beaver Borough, Beaver County. Some details:
Main dirt track will be 1-mile oval with a seven-furlong and 11/4 mile chute, 80 feet wide.
The clubhouse will include covered exterior grandstands for 1,500 guests; pari-mutuel facilities; simulcast viewing; two bar/lounges; a 300-seat restaurant and retail shop.
Racing facilities will include 20 stables.
The hotel plans include 150 rooms, two meeting rooms, a 250-seat restaurant, exercise facility and pool.
The casino will have a gaming area with 3,000 slot machines, stage for live performances, sports lounge, snack bar and retail shops.
