AUSTINTOWN -- Korean War Veterans Association Chapter 137 of the Mahoning Valley will dedicate a new Korean War Memorial at 1 p.m. Sunday at Veterans Park, Wickliffe Circle. The memorial contains the names of 119 servicemen -- five of whom are missing in action, and the rest killed in action -- from the Korean War.
District registration
NILES -- The administrative offices at Edison Junior High School are closed, and the offices at the new Niles Middle School, 411 Brown St., will open Aug. 11. Registration for pupils new to the district will begin at that time. Office hours will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
