Luna's double helps lift Aeros past New Haven

AKRON (AP) -- Hector Luna's RBI double sparked Akron's five-run third inning as the Aeros beat the New Haven Ravens 11-3 Sunday in the Eastern League.
Kyle Denney (7-3) pitched six innings for the win, striking out four and walking none. He allowed three runs on five hits. Jake Robbins pitched the final three for his seventh save of the year.
Akron's Tyler Minges had RBI doubles in the second and sixth innings and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the third. Nate Grindell drove in runs on sacrifice flies in the third and seventh.
New Haven's Danny Solano hit a two-run homer in the second.
Diego Markwell (4-7) allowed seven runs on nine hits in four innings for the loss. He struck out two and walked six.
