Mystics 85, Silver Stars 77
SAN ANTONIO -- Chamique Holdsclaw scored 24 points and Washington held off a late rally by San Antonio.
Coco Miller added 18 points for the Mystics (5-14), including eight in the final five minutes, and Stacey Dales-Schuman and Murriel Page each had 14. San Antonio (6-14), which lost its fourth straight, was paced by Jennifer Azzi and Margo Didek, who each scored 17.
Didek also had a game-high 12 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season.
Asjha Jones's 3-pointer with 13:30 left gave Washington its largest lead at 60-47, but Semeka Randall's aggressive play helped pull the Silver Stars within 66-65 with 6:18 left. Randall finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.
Washington closed out the game by going 6-of-8 from the foul line in the final 53 seconds.
Holdsclaw scored at least 20 points for the fourth consecutive game.
The Silver Stars' Marie Ferdinand finished with six points, snapping an eight-game streak in double figures.
