Death penalty exhibit
Matthew Mangino can add museum status to his list of qualifications.
The Lawrence County district attorney is participating in an exhibition on the death penalty at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
The exhibition is "Andy Warhol's Electric Chairs: Reflecting On Capital Punishment in America."
Mangino, who serves on the exhibition's community advisory committee, has taped an audio commentary, which is a pertinent part of the exhibit.
In addition to Mangino, the commentators include Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell, the Warhol's director Thomas Sokolowski, as well as victims' families, defense attorneys, police officers and others with diverse points of view.
Mangino also plans to participate in educational programming planned to correspond with the exhibit.
