Full investigation is neededon Bush actions in Iraq war
EDITOR:
I hope that this country's citizens consider the seriousness of the Bush administration's breach of trust. The well-documented sequence of statements that was the primary reason Congress agreed to the recent invasion was that Iraq was a threat to national security by reason of its possession of weapons of mass destruction. It now turns out that this reason was a total fabrication, that is, an outright lie, testified to in the State of the Union address (recently admitted fraudulent by the head of the CIA), by [Colin] Powell before the U.N., and repeatedly on the news media.
John Dean, himself imprisoned for his part in the scandal that led to Nixon's impeachment/resignation, has stated publicly that if this deception was deliberate, it would be a much more serious crime than the burglary of the Democratic headquarters in Watergate. In effect, it constitutes an act to defraud taxpayers of many billions of dollars, all of which are going into the hands of the super-wealthy who are running the show. It also constitutes an act of manslaughter/murder of thousands of Iraqi citizens, most of them children and women, as well as hundreds of our young men and women.
Let it be stated clearly: The administration of George W. Bush is proving to be the most destructive, fraudulent and criminal group of people to have ever occupied the White House (yes, occupied by way of the coup engineered by Jeb Bush's Florida elections office). May all citizens of conscience and good sense join in the demand for a full investigation to expose this gang of thieves for what they are, and return this country to a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, instead of one of the rich, by the rich, and for the rich.

Who could have missed the two new construction projects in Boardman? A furniture store and massive discount store. Who would dispute that the furniture store is a vast improvement over the nasty old house, trees, bushes and grass that previously occupied the acreage? Then one of the last areas of wonderful large birches has been mowed down for another discount business.
There's one batch of trees left on South Avenue that they fenced in.
It's finally happened: They've paved paradise and put up a parking lot. And they're gonna charge us a dollar and a half just to see 'em. A tree museum. Boardman Park remains free, at least for now. Heaven help us when they realize we'd pay admission for Mill Creek Park.
We can be grateful for Volney Rogers who had a vision our leaders lack.
We would need centuries to restore this area to its former wooded glory.
I also don't believe Sam Walton would have so many of his own stores this close together. He didn't believe in competing with himself.
Watch out Springfield Township! They're comin' for us!

Bush's economic policyrelies on old ideals
EDITOR:
The G.W. Bush economic philosophy is actually scary. After 60 years of liberal government entitlements, to be heading back to our founding fathers' ideals of self reliance is scary.
Liberal compassion with its many entitlements is like putting a noose around a person's neck and letting their feet hit the ground six or seven times. When your entitlements run out they shorten the rope and give you the real thing.
