$13.5 million in grantsto help the homelessthroughout the nation
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Labor have partnered to make $13.5 million available to supply housing and jobs to the homeless.
The grants, now available to local housing and labor agencies nationwide, are an effort to meet President Bush's goal of ending chronic homelessness in 10 years, says a HUD press release.
