NEW YORK -- Vickie Johnson tied her career high with 27 points to help New York snap a three-game losing streak. Tari Phillips added 13 rebounds, seven points and three blocks for the Liberty. Shalonda Enis added 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Dawn Staley had 13 points and seven assists for Charlotte, which lost its second straight game.
Shock 74, Storm 61
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Elaine Powell scored 16 points, and Swin Cash added 15 as Detroit defeated Seattle. Deanna Nolan added 12 points and Cheryl Ford had 11 rebounds for the Shock. Seattle's Lauren Jackson had 23 points, and Sue Bird added 14.
