What: Annual, all-day park service event.
When: July 27.
Where: James L. Wick Jr. Recreation Area.
EVENTS:
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Closest to the Pin Golf Tournament, $5 for round of golf. Prizes awarded for closest shot on each hole.
1 to 4 p.m.: Sand Sculpture Competition, $5 for one-ton pile of sand. Prizes awarded in children's and adult divisions. Bring costumes, spray paint, props. Call (330) 740-7107 to reserve a sand pile.
5:30 p.m.: 7-Up Summerfest Spectacular Performances at Judge Morley Performing Arts Pavilion with Seven Mile Isle & amp; Original Fantasies.
