Nielsen Media speakerset for Chamber luncheon
LIBERTY -- Jeff Herrmann, director of central U.S. sales and marketing for Nielsen Media, will speak at the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber's "Food for Thought" luncheon at noon Wednesday at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex. He will speak on interactive media content, the effects of digital video recording on television advertising and use of the Internet by Fortune 500 companies. Call the chamber for reservations.
USW will raise flagfor union members
SALEM -- United Steelworkers of America Local 3816 will raise a flag dedicated to all past, current and future union members July 27 at Eljer Plumbingware, 921 S. Ellsworth Ave. Festivities will begin at 3 p.m.; the flag dedication will be at 4 p.m.
Kindermusik to openat Cortland church
CORTLAND -- Krista Milford is opening a Kindermusik franchise at Cortland Trinity Baptist Church, 2576 McCleary Jacoby Road. Classes start Aug. 26. Kindermusik is a music and movement program for children up to 7 years old.
