BENEFIT Hearing and speech center announces golf classic



The field is limited to 144 golfers.
LIBERTY TOWNSHIP -- A charity golf classic to benefit the Youngstown Hearing and Speech Center will be held Aug. 4 at the Youngstown Country Club.
Entry fee is $175 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf and cart, refreshments on the course, lunch buffet, dinner buffet and a complimentary gift bag. Deadline for entering is July 28.
To participate
The field is limited to 144 golfers. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m., and play will get under way with a shotgun start at noon. The event will conclude with an awards dinner at 6 p.m. Participants are to wear soft spikes and appropriate golf attire.
First- through fourth-place teams will receive cash awards, and there will be prizes for closest to the pin on Nos. 6 and 16, longest drive on No. 17, and a hole-in-one on No. 9.
Sponsorship opportunities are available, and the donation of items or services for door prizes will be acknowledged in the program and on display.
