GIRARD
July 14
Vandalism: Someone damaged three storm doors, a door window, and tossed eggs at First Christian Church, 140 E. Broadway Ave.
Criminal damage: An Indiana man reported someone threw a rock from an overpass and damaged his truck as he traveled on Interstate 80. Also, a Gardiner, N.Y., man reported rocks thrown at his motor home, which had its roof, a handle and antenna damaged as he drove on I-80.
Counterfeit: An employee at the Wonder Bar, 100 W. Liberty St., reported receiving two counterfeit $20 bills. Also, an employee at a McQuaid's gas station, 131 S. State St., reported a co-worker found a counterfeit $20 bill on a sidewalk in front of the business.
July 15
Counterfeit: An employee at Jotogo, 516 N. State St., reported a man passed a counterfeit $20 bill at a window.
July 16
Theft: Someone removed $10 worth of loose change from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Shannon Avenue.

July 8
Criminal mischief: Someone scrawled graffiti on two abandoned vehicles' hoods in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 30 block of Trumbull Court said her boyfriend broke a window after she refused to let him into her residence.
Theft: A man reported someone stole a Liberty Township sign posted near Gypsy Lane and Logan Avenue.
Vandalism: Someone used a hatchet to damage a sign posted near state Route 193.
Criminal mischief: A man in the 1100 block of Mansell Drive reported someone set fire to his Vindicator newspaper box.

Auto theft: A 1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was stolen from the Liberty Plaza, 3551 Belmont Ave.
July 10
Arrests: After responding to a burglary at an apartment in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive, police arrested a Youngstown man, 42. Police also charged a second Youngstown man, 33, with falsification, possession of drug paraphernalia, complicity to theft and burglary.
Assault: A woman and her son claimed a 21-year-old man punched the son in the face when he was at a residence in the 1700 block of Naylor-Lloyd Road.
July 11
Counterfeit: An employee at a Shell gas station, 4446 Logan Way, reported someone used a counterfeit $20 bill to buy miscellaneous items.
Burglary: Someone broke into a residence in the 3100 block of Hadley Avenue and took $94.
Theft: A man recovered a 1992 Yamaha dirt bike he alleged a 17-year-old boy stole from his residence in the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue.
July 12
Auto theft: A man reported his Chevrolet Cavalier stolen from the Punky's Pit Stop parking lot, 6670 Belmont Ave.
Arrest: After responding to a report of an intoxicated person at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex, 1620 Motor Inn Drive, police charged a 48-year-old Hubbard woman with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing official business.
Arrest: Police arrested a 24-year-old Girard woman in the 2700 block of Belmont Avenue on a charge of passing bad checks.
Recovered property: Police recovered a stolen car in the 200 block of Norwood Avenue.
July 13
Theft: A front license plate was stolen off a vehicle parked in the 5800 block of Sampson Drive.
Theft: Police cited a 53-year-old Youngstown man on a misdemeanor theft charge after an employee at Perkins Family Restaurant, 3632 Belmont Ave., said he didn't pay a $10.46 food bill.
Theft: A woman reported her purse stolen while she was at Choice's Niteclub, 1620 Motor Inn Drive.
Theft: Someone smashed a vehicle's rear passenger-side vent window before removing an AM/FM digital CD player and 50 CDs.
July 14
Theft: A man reported his Phillips Walkman device stolen while he was at a doctor's office in the 3200 block of Belmont Avenue.
Theft: An employee at Burger King, 3219 Belmont Ave., alleged a co-worker has stolen a total of $2,200 over a two-week period.
Vandalism: Police discovered a broken rear window at a residence in the 100 block of Mansell Drive.
Vandalism: Someone cut a screen and opened a window to a residence in the 200 block of Colonial Drive.

Theft: A woman returned from vacation and discovered her wedding rings missing from her residence in the 30 block of Fox Street.
Assault: A woman reported another woman assaulted her at Pagz Bar & amp; Grill, 119 N. Main St.
