Pearce-Darak engagement is announced

XHOWLAND -- John and Barbara Pearce of Howland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Shannon L. Pearce of Chicago, and Christopher A. Darak, also of Chicago, a son of Michael and Delores Darak of Warren.
Miss Pearce is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in comprehensive science and secondary education. She is a physics teacher and head track coach at Mother Theodore Guerin High School in Chicago.
Mr. Darak holds a degree in liberal arts from Kent State University and is president of AGN Futures, a Chicago-based commodity brokerage firm.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's August wedding to be held at Howland Community Church and for their reception at Leo's Ristorant & eacute;.
