Pallantes mark golden jubilee at dinner party



XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Neil Pallante of 3401 Kingston Lane were honored July 6 at a dinner at Alberini's in Niles on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the celebration were the couple's children and their spouses, Linda and Phil Grodzki of Columbiana; Diane and Michael Fenisey of Santa Cruz, Calif.; Joyce and David Bozanich of Youngstown; Lorraine and Jeff Bees of Springfield; and Neil Pallante of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
Seven grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Pallante and the former Phyllis Rae Pauline were married July 4, 1953, at the old St. Anne Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force and Second Army during World War II and worked as a mechanical engineer for Truscon Division of Republic Steel Corp., Youngstown Sheet & amp; Tube Co., Van Huffel Steel Co. and Youngstown Thermal Co., retiring in 1989.
His wife is a homemaker.
The Pallantes belong to St. Christine Church.
