XAUSTINTOWN -- St. Joseph Church was the setting at 2 p.m. June 21 for the wedding of Christina M. Caruso, daughter of George and Bernice Caruso of Austintown, and William L. Simonton III, son of William Jr. and Linda Simonton of Centerville.
The Rev. James Korda officiated, and a reception was held at the Byzantine Center at the Grove in Youngstown.
After a honeymoon to Hawaii, the newlyweds are living in Columbus, Ind.
The bride's sleeveless satin gown was designed with a beaded V-neckline. The chapel train featured an insert trimmed with beaded embroidery.
Her sisters, Georgiann and Michelle Caruso, were maids of honor, and bridesmaids were Melissa Galitsky, Caroline Roberts and the groom's sister, Amy Hamilton. They wore aubergine gowns. Flower girl was the groom's cousin, Mary Nashif, who wore white.
Robert Simonton, the groom's brother, and John Hamilton, his brother-in-law, were best men, and groomsmen were James Ullman, Chad Foster and Robert Passmore.
Mrs. Simonton is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She earned a master's degree in industrial-organizational psychology at Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton and is a mechanical development engineer with Cummins Inc. in Columbus.
