XBOARDMAN -- Artemis Irene Stanos, East Chestnut Street, Chicago, and John George Anos, Bissell Drive, Chicago, were married at 3:30 p.m. July 5 at St. John Greek Orthodox Church. The Rev. Thomas Constantine officiated.
After a reception at Tippecanoe Country Club, Canfield, the couple left for a honeymoon in Italy. They live in Chicago.
Atty. Steven and Kathryn Stanos, Tanglewood Drive, Youngstown, are parents of the bride, and the groom's parents are Atty. George and Nicolette Anos, Westchester, Ill.
The bride's silk-satin gown featured a square neckline, cap sleeves and a scalloped train, and was enhanced with embroidery.
Platinum gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Margo Anos, Marta Bertsos, Kellie Karavokiros, Lisa Lalos, Christina Rashid and Dr. Sarah Stanos. Flower girls were Sophia Stanos and Alexia Lalos.
Groomsmen were Leo Bertsos, Joseph Bonanno, Edward McNamara, Dr. Peter Stanos, Dr. Steven Stanos and Nicholas Stanos. Ring bearers were Konstantine Kinnas and Yianni Kinnas. The usher was Zachary Vallos, and sponsors were Bobby and Aspasia Bertsos.
The bride holds a degree in elementary education from Miami University in Oxford and is on the board of directors of the Women's Treatment Center of Chicago.
The groom, a managing national director with Deutsche Bank Securities of Chicago, Global Investment Bank, earned a bachelor's in business administration at Boston University and a juris doctorate at Loyola University, Chicago.
