XCANFIELD -- Paul Lucas of Streetsboro and his bride, the former Angela DelVecchio of North Jackson, honeymooned on the Hawaiian island of Maui following their marriage June 21 at Old North Church.
The Rev. Brent Allen officiated at the 3:30 p.m. wedding, and a reception was held later that day at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, Youngstown.
The daughter of Frank and Diana DelVecchio of North Jackson and the son of Mark and Debbie Lucas of Hubbard live in Streetsboro.
The bride's A-line satin gown featured a V-neckline, and beading enhanced the bodice and semicathedral train. She completed her ensemble with a tiered waterfall veil enhanced with crystals and a soutache edging.
Apple-red gowns were worn by the bride's sister and maid of honor, Maria DelVecchio, and Rian Blangero, the matron of honor. Similarly attired were the bridesmaids, Christine Davis, the bride's cousin; Katie Milne; and Amy Jenyk, a sister of the groom.
The duties of best man were performed by Adam Carano, and groomsmen were Joseph Jenyk, the groom's brother-in-law; Matt Bonte; and Brian Yavorsky.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in information technology, the bride is employed in Web development at Henn Workshops in Lordstown.
The groom, a science teacher with Orange High School in Pepper Pike, graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in education.
