CANFIELD
July 11
Theft: A woman's purse was stolen from a van in the driveway in the 300 block of Bradford Drive.
Breaking and entering: The kitchen door was kicked in at a new construction site at 150 Woodland Ave.
Breaking and entering: Double back doors of a garage were forced open at a new construction site at 160 Woodland Ave.
AUSTINTOWN
July 6
Theft: A four-wheeler and trailer were taken in the residential 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Theft: Fuel was reported stolen from McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.
Attempted burglary: An unidentified female attempted to gain access to a residence in the 3000 block of Cumberland Drive.
July 7
Theft: Cash and a diamond ring were stolen from a residence in the 100 block of North Navarre Avenue.
Drug offense: A male suspect was jailed after his arrest on a felony count of possession of cocaine and two minor misdemeanor counts of possession of dangerous drugs (pills). He was arrested on South Warwick Drive and Thorngate Drive.
Personal injury: A dog bite was reported in the residential 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Criminal damage: A window in a door was damaged at the AFSCME office, 150 S. Four Mile Run Road.
Criminal damage: Damage was reported to the maintenance garage in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.
Theft: A man is suspected of stealing a musical instrument from a residence in the 1200 block of Bexley Drive.
Theft: A 32-inch television was taken at the Budapest Lounge, 3780 Mahoning Ave.
Attempted theft: A window was broken out on a vehicle at Greenwood Chevrolet, 4695 Mahoning Ave. The act was caught on a surveillance tape.
Theft: A window was smashed out and compact discs were taken from a vehicle at the Hampton Inn, 880 N. Canfield Road.
Robbery: Two male juveniles were robbed at Wedgewood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road, by two males in their late teens.
July 8
Criminal damage: The front main door was damaged by an unknown object at Charlie's Restaurant, 4455 Kirk Road.
Theft: The rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Police arrested a man suspected of stealing beer from Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.
Criminal damage: A man allegedly damaged a vehicle parked on South Warwick Drive.
Theft: A 21-speed bicycle was stolen from the residential 4000 block of Westmont Drive.
Attempted aggravated burglary: A 4-by-3-foot glass window pane was broken out in the 1000 block of Celeste Circle.
July 9
Abandoned vehicle: A 1996 Blue Ford Thunderbird was stolen from the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Breaking and entering: A 27-inch television was taken from a residence in the 3000 block of Orchard Hill.
Burglary: A window was left open and money was taken from a home in the 3000 block of Staatz Drive.
Criminal damage: Damage was reported to a vehicle's front seat, power window and door lock in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
July 10
Theft: Yard ornaments were stolen from a residence in the 5000 block of Calloway Circle.
Attempted theft: A trunk lock was pulled on a vehicle in the residential 4000 block of Alderwood Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a man accused of stealing a digital recorder from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: Police arrested two men on minor misdemeanor charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia at McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.

July 12
Felonious assault: A woman discharged a firearm at her husband and was placed in county jail after a situation in the residential 400 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Vandalism: An Austintown police speed detector was reportedly damaged by a male suspect in the 400 block of Forest Hill Drive.
Burglary: Suspects entered a home in the 100 block of North Main Street while the victim was sleeping and stole a number of items.
Criminal damage: The front passenger window was broken at a residence in the 4000 block of Woodridge Drive.
Drug offense: An 18-year-old man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia in the 80 block of South Beverly Avenue.
