Stanley fires Becdir to 9-3 tourney win

BOARDMAN -- Becdir scored eight runs in the first two innings Saturday, en route to a 9-3 victory over North Coast in the Mickey Mantle Tournament at Fields of Dreams.
Ryan Hamilton had two hits for Becdir while Lou Kopachy, Tyler Stanley and Hamilton each drove in two runs. Stanley earned the complete-game victory, allowing the three runs on nine hits. He struck out three and walked three.
Andy's Niners 4, Becdir 3
Becdir took a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but Andy's Niners rallied for the victory.
Greg Turk, John Turk, Rudy Nadbath and Danny Ezzo each had two hits for the winners. Ben Danzinger earned the victory.
Ben Detwiler had two hits for Becdir. Ryan Myers suffered the mound loss.
Raiders 11, Wolf 10
The Shaker Heights Raiders scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to prevail. Brandon Skoff took the loss for Wolf.
