2 reports in Austintown say wife shot at spouse and teen had gun

AUSTINTOWN -- Police received two reports in the past few days involving guns, including a report that a South Edgehill Avenue woman shot at her husband Saturday morning.
Police have charged Orabelle Jean Neff, 55, with attempted felonious assault and driving under the influence. Neff's husband told police he and Neff got into a fight over her drinking about 4 a.m. The husband said he went to bed after the fight.
Reports state that Neff burst into the bedroom, pointed a gun at her husband's head, and threatened him. She then fired a shot into a pillow, according to reports.
Neff later left the house without the gun. Police stopped her in a car on South Edgehill Avenue and arrested her.
Loaded gun
Police also are investigating a report that a 16-year-old Plumbrook Drive boy displayed a loaded gun at a Rosemont Avenue house early today. A man at the Rosemont Avenue house told police the boy came to the house about 3 a.m., displayed the loaded gun, and said he was concerned that the man and someone else were going to beat him. The boy then asked for his ex-girlfriend, who was at the house. The boy and the ex-girlfriend left together.
Police said they found the boy and the girl in the woods near Rosemont Avenue and told the boy to take his hands out of his pockets. The boy took one of his hands out and then ran. Police gave chase but could not find him.
