LOWELLVILLE -- Washington Street will be closed from 8 a.m. until noon Wednesday and Friday and from 6 p.m. until midnight Thursday through Sunday for the annual parade and Mount Carmel festival.
Water ski dayfor the disabled
PITTSBURGH -- People with disabilities have an opportunity to water ski with adaptive equipment at the 13th annual Three Rivers Adaptive Sports Water Ski Clinic on Monday through Thursday. Sponsored by UPMC Rehabilitation Hospital, the clinic will be at Conneaut Lake Park Beach in Crawford County near Meadville, Pa.
Participants and observers will include those with disabilities because of stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, amputations and other traumatic injuries.
The cost is $35 a day for non-TRAS members and $20 a day for TRAS members.
