YOUNGSTOWN -- Interstate 680 will be reduced to one lane southbound from Belle Vista to Market Street and several ramps will be periodically closed for pavement repair work from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Bridge reopens
NILES -- The state Route 46 bridge north of North River Road has reopened, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced Friday.
The routes 46/82 area will have various westbound lane restrictions beginning Monday to add dual left-turn lanes and to widen the ramps.
The bridge work is part of a $1.7 million project to resurface two lanes of Route 46 from the ABD Railroad crossing to the Niles southern corporation limits and from Route 82 to state Route 5.
The entire project is scheduled to be completed by this fall.
