SEBRING -- The music and dessert are free at an outdoor concert and ice cream social from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Copeland Oaks Retirement Community, 800 S. 15th St. Bob Hill Trio and a vocalist will perform Big Band songs in the gazebo.
Rain date is Thursday.
Jazz, pop and show tunes to be performed
POLAND -- Vocalist Ellen Wakeford Banks and accompanist Kris Harper will be featured in a free outdoor concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Adair House, 114 E. McKinley Way. The duo will perform light jazz, pop and show tunes.
Parking will be at Poland Union Elementary School on Riverside Drive.

Get jazzed about fest
NILES -- The 10th annual Jazz and Wine Fest is planned at 5 p.m. July 25-26 at the Great American Stake-Out outdoor courtyard, 5115 Youngstown-Warren Road. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County.
Bands on Friday will be Hubbs Groove and '90s Super Band. On Saturday, Cruise Control and Real Silk will perform. Tickets are $15.
Art Fest in Alliance
ALLIANCE -- More than 50 artists will display their fine arts and crafts at the 39th annual Art Fest from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 27 by the lakes at Mount Union College, South Union Avenue.
Admission is free. It's sponsored by Alliance Art Center.
'Fools' to be staged
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Greenville Area Community Theater and Greenville Symphony Orchestra will present Neil Simon's play "Fools" at 8 p.m. July 30-31 and Aug. 1 and 2 and 3 p.m. Aug. 3 at Bly Hall on the campus of Thiel College.
Tickets will be available at the door. The cost is $12 for adults and $9 for students.
Watercolor workshop
LISBON -- Frank LaLumia, an artist and author from Sante Fe, N.M., will conduct a plein air watercolor painting workshop Aug. 4-8 at the Inn at Willow Pond. Though the session is mostly for watercolorists, students who paint in oil or acrylics will be accepted.
LaLumia, who is listed in "Who's Who in American Art," has won numerous national and regional awards, with the most recent being the best of show at the 50th annual Texas Watercolor Society National Exhibition at San Antonio Museum of Art.

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. -- The Kiwanis Club of West Middlesex will sponsor two shows by the Kelly Miller Bros. Circus. Performances will be at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at Lackawannock Township Park. Tent-raising will start about 8 a.m. that day.
Advance tickets -- $8 for adults and $5 for children -- are available at some local businesses. Ticket prices at the box office will be $10 for adults and $6 for children.
Poetry slam
YOUNGSTOWN -- The second annual Poetry Reading and Poetry Slam will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church.
The poetry reading is free and open to all ages. Registration is from 5 to 6:15 p.m. in the following categories: under age 16, $3; age 16 and up, $5.
Prizes for first and second place will be awarded in each category. Poets should bring enough material for up to 3 rounds.
There will be a special guest reading by pastor and author L. Kwajo-Asim Simon.
