An assault is the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
Crime: Aggravated assault.
Location: Farrell.
Details: Southwest Mercer County Regional Police are trying to identify a man found severely beaten in an alley in the 600 block of Federal Street in Farrell around 4:20 a.m. July 5. The man remains in a coma in Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Description: The victim is a white male in his 30s with short black hair, a thin black mustache and a receding hairline. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has a number of distinctive tattoos, including an eagle on his upper right arm, a Grim Reaper on his outer right forearm, a cobra snake on his inner right arm, a cross of confusion (a traditional cross topped by a question mark) on his outer left wrist and a black widow spider on his left middle finger.
