XCANFIELD -- A honeymoon to Hawaii followed the June 14 wedding of Matthew D. Koenig, 4561 Tippecanoe Road, Youngstown, and his bride, the former Susanne M. Fabrizio, 49 Elva Ave., Youngstown. The couple were married at 12:30 p.m. at St. Michael Church with the Rev. Terry Hazel officiating and were honored at a reception at Mr. Anthony's, Boardman.
The bride is a daughter of Roland Fabrizio of the Elva Avenue address and the late Norma Vimmerstedt Fabrizio. Parents of the groom are James and Patricia Koenig, 61 Neff Drive.
Crystals and beading adorned the bride's white, strapless European silk satin gown.
Maid of honor was Tiffany Courtney, and matrons of honor were Angela Lepore and Dawn Carney. Bridesmaids were Michelle Smith, Amanda Reardon, Candice Carney, Tara DelSignore and Leslie Hamrecek. They wore periwinkle dresses. Flower girls were Sydney Hamrecek and Brianna Lepore.
Best men were Michael Koenig and Daniel Reardon. Groomsmen were Will Klucinec, Matthew Dobos, Mark Davis, Raymond McCune, James Gaca and Roderick McCune. Ushers were Patrick Clark and Frank Gallagher.
A registered nurse, Mrs. Koenig is employed by St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She earned a bachelor's degree in nursing at Youngstown State University.
The groom is a teacher and football coach at Warren Western Reserve Middle School and has a bachelor's in education from YSU. He also is the assistant varsity baseball coach at Warren G. Harding High School.
They live at the groom's address.
