Sciortino 50th celebrated at dinner party

XYOUNGSTOWN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent C. Sciortino, 4083 Riverside Drive, was celebrated during a dinner party June 21 at the B & amp;O Brewery Restaurant.
Hosts and hostesses for the event were the honorees' sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Vicki Sciortino of Austintown and Craig and Laura Sciortino of Coral Springs, Fla.
Mr. Sciortino and the former Margaret Peduzzi exchanged marriage vows June 20, 1953, at St. Edward's Church.
The couple are members of St. Christine Church.
Mrs. Sciortino is a homemaker.
Retired since 1988, Mr. Sciortino was a roll grinder at Cold Metal Products. He served with the U.S. Air Force in the military police during the occupation of Japan. Mr. Sciortino is a member of the Saxon Club.
The family circle includes four grandchildren.
