New Castle Road between Hubbard and Stewart roads in Poland will be closed Tuesday so the Mahoning County Engineer's Office can replace a culvert.
Also, Hubbard Road between McGuffey and County Line roads in Coitsville will be closed Thursday so a culvert can be replaced. Detours will be established during the road closures.
Seeking food donations
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley is in immediate need of food items for its Emergency Food Basket Distribution Program, said John Ray, director of development at the mission.
The mission is asking for peanut butter, canned peas, canned beets, canned mixed vegetables, dry cereal, jars of jelly, canned meats, family-sized snacks and boxed macaroni. Cans should be in the No. 2 size. The mission is located at 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
