Ortenzio-Roat wedding to be held in Niles

XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- Plans for the summer wedding of their daughter, Dr. Rebecca Marie Ortenzio, and Troy Matthew Roat, both of San Diego, are being announced by Dr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Ortenzio Jr. of New Middletown.
Parents of the future groom are Mr. and Mrs. John Carl Roat of Redding, Calif.
The couple will exchange nuptial vows during a 2:30 p.m. Aug. 30 open ceremony to be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception to take place at the Holiday Inn, Boardman.
The bride-elect received a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University and a doctor of dentistry degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She is a dental officer with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Duluth at San Diego, and is currently deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom.
Her fiance is a deep-sea diver instructor/supervisor in San Diego.
