Marcie Grist, Gary Calvert to be married

XSPRINGBORO -- Plans for the forthcoming marriage of Marcie Beth Grist and Gary Michael Calvert, both of Springboro, are being announced by their parents. The bride-elect is a daughter of Samuel and Patricia Grist of Poland, and Mr. Calvert is a son of Kenneth and Susan Gragorace of Greenville, Ohio; and Roland and Kathleen Calvert of Millersville, Md.
Miss Grist is a licensed nursing home administrator at Lebanon Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lebanon. She also teaches part-time at Miami University of Ohio. The future bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and earned a master's degree in gerontological studies at Miami University.
Mr. Calvert served in the U.S. Army as an intelligence specialist for eight years. He is pursuing a degree in engineering physics at Wright State University in Dayton.
The couple will be married Aug. 30 during a ceremony at 2 p.m. at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at The Georgetown in Boardman.
