XHUBBARD -- The marriage of Leigh Ann Vargo, 642 E. Liberty St., and Patrick Martelon, 1820 Beechwood Ave., N.E., North Canton, was solemnized by the Rev. Ted Schaffer at 1:30 p.m. June 7 at Grace Lutheran Church.
A reception was held at Mahoning Country Club, Girard, to honor the daughter of Bill and Diane Vargo of the East Liberty Street address, and son of Patricia M. Brown, 12812 Chippewa Road, Brecksville, and James Paul Martelon of Texas.
The couple left on a wedding trip to the Grand Canyon and live in North Canton.
The bride's candlelight strapless ballgown was adorned with pastel beading and featured a chapel train.
Pastel-colored skirts and ivory tops were worn by the honor attendant, Evie Rhynard, and the bridesmaids, Jamie Lizewski, Cathy Tomsho, and the bride's sister-in-law, Jill Vargo.
Timothy Martelon was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Gino Hernandez, and the bride's brothers, Tim Vargo and Scott Vargo. Guests were ushered by Kevin Bishop, Rick Rhynard, Shawn Walsh and Matt Windt.
The bride holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in accounting from Kent State University and is pursuing her certified public accountant certification.
The groom graduated from KSU with a bachelor's degree in finance and is a mortgage loan processor with First Merit Mortgage Corp., North Canton.
