XCANFIELD -- Old North Church provided the setting June 14 for the wedding of Kelly Salo of Canfield and Richard Remias of Columbus. The Rev. Brent Allen officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Salo and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Remias, all of Austintown.
Later the newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at Fonderlac Country Club, New Springfield, then left for a honeymoon in the Bahamas. They live in Columbus.
Alencon lace, pearls and crystals embellished the bride's ivory Italian satin sheath gown styled with a V-neckline and detachable train.
Kris Davis of Millersville, Md., was honor attendant for her sister. Bridesmaids were Lori Garner of Canfield, Lynda Eynon of New Middletown and Marsha Minnich of Hilliard. They wore honeydew-colored dresses. Flower girl was Alyssa Eynon of New Middletown.
Best man was Ron Remias of Hilliard, the brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Clark Willis of Charleston, W.Va.; Tom Eynon of New Middletown; and Jeff Kish of Hilliard.
Mrs. Remias graduated from Kent State University in Kent with a bachelor's degree in multiple and orthopedically handicapped education and a master's in elementary education. She is an elementary learning disabilities teacher at Olentangy Local Schools in Powell.
Mr. Remias earned a degree in criminology at Ohio State University in Columbus. He is the safety and security manager with the Net Jets in Columbus.
