XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mason Seachrist and his bride, the former Carrie Patterson, left on a cruise to the Caribbean after their 2 p.m. June 7 wedding at St. Christine Church and reception at the Maronite Center
The daughter of Gary and Marilyn Patterson, 1660 Warner Ave., Mineral Ridge, and son of Sherry Seachrist, 45534 Riffle Road, Lisbon, and the late Wayne Seachrist, live in Boardman.
A beaded and embroidered floral pattern enhanced the bodice of the bride's white strapless organza sheath gown. Vertical organza ruffles on the skirt flowed into a chapel train.
Gowned in pink were the honor attendant, Lauren Hamilton, and the bridesmaids, Patti Kenney, Kelly Klusmann, Becky Neglia and Kellie Nowak.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Kurt Seachrist, and serving as groomsmen were Brent Barr, Doug Ensinger, Doug Hixon, and the bride's brother, David Patterson.
The bride graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University with a bachelor's and a master's degree in speech pathology. She is employed by Rehab Services Inc. as a speech therapist at Austinwoods Rehabilitation Center, Austintown.
The groom, a history teacher with Beaver Local Schools in Lisbon, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Mount Union College, Alliance, and summa cum laude with a master's degree in education from Ashland University.
