Miss Poprik to be bride of Mr. May in August rite

XAnnounced by Marianne Poprik of Boardman and John Poprik of Struthers are plans for the summer wedding of their daughter, Laurie Poprik, and Christopher May, a son of Carol and Dale May of Austintown.
The couple have chosen St. Dominic Catholic Church in Youngstown for the ceremony at which they will be united in marriage. The open wedding will take place at 2 p.m. Aug. 9, and a reception by invitation will be held that evening at Stambaugh Auditorium, also Youngstown.
The bride-elect, a special education-teacher with Howland Local Schools, holds a bachelor's degree in education from Bowling Green State University.
The future groom graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in fine arts and is an art teacher with Alliance City Schools.
