Family: A son, Richard, of Chicago; an adopted daughter, Janet Dewart Bell, of New York City; a brother, Thomas Hulett of Buffalo, N.Y.; three sisters, Mary Bryant of Chicago and Jaunetta Purvis and Christine Harris, both of St. Louis; and a granddaughter, Richelle Hulett of Chicago.
Education: Received GED, attended Temple Business School, Phillip Murray School of Arbitration and Washington School of Arbitration.
Membership: Life member, NAACP.
