Virostek-Lyda wedding set for early October

XAnnouncement of the engagement of Kathleen Virostek, 7307 Struthers Road, Poland, and Mark Lyda, 3645 Tyler Drive, Canfield, is being made by their parents, Edward and Mary Jane Virostek of the Struthers Road address and Tadeusz and Danielle Lyda, 1002 Franklin Ave., Youngstown.
The couple's open ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 4 at Holy Family Church in Poland, and a reception by invitation will be held that evening at St. Nicholas Byzantine Center in Youngstown.
Miss Virostek holds a bachelor's degree in music education from Youngstown State University Dana School of Music and is a music teacher for grades kindergarten through eight at Byzantine Catholic Central School, Youngstown. She also is employed as a vocalist at the Ursuline Motherhouse in Canfield.
Her fiance graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a master's in business administration. He is regional sales manager at Centria in Pittsburgh and is organist at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Youngstown. He also is international coordinator for For Us All charity organization and is a programmer for International Dies Co. Inc. in Youngstown.
The couple also are employed at St. Paul Church in North Canton as Lifeteen music leaders.
