NATIONAL LEAGUE Burnitz ignites Mets' rally past Reds
His RBI double in the seventh also ended Danny Graves' no-hit bid.

CINCINNATI -- Jeromy Burnitz's RBI double ended Danny Graves' no-hit bid in the seventh inning and started a four-run rally that swept the New York Mets to a 6-2 victory Saturday over the Cincinnati Reds.
Steve Trachsel (8-5) pitched six innings on a humid, 90-degree evening, keeping it scoreless until Graves faltered.
The heat got to Ken Griffey Jr., who felt dizzy during pregame warmups and was a late scratch from the Reds lineup.
The conditions were right for Graves' sinker, which produced 11 groundouts in the first six innings.

Rockies 9, Brewers 8
MILWAUKEE -- Todd Helton drove in four runs with a triple and a home run for Colorado.
The Rockies got six solid innings from Darren Oliver (6-5), who allowed three runs on five hits for his second straight win on the road after beginning 0-5 in his first eight starts away from Coors Field.
Oliver, who hadn't won three straight decisions in more than two years, entrusted his bullpen with an 8-3 lead, but Geoff Jenkins took Nelson Cruz deep for his second career grand slam in the seventh to make it 8-7.
Colorado's Jay Payton homered in the ninth for a valuable insurance run because Eric Young's solo shot off Brian Fuentes in the bottom half cut it to 9-8.

Marlins 5, Phillies 4
PHILADELPHIA -- Brad Penny pitched seven strong innings and Ivan Rodriguez homered as the Florida Marlins held off the Philadelphia Phillies 5-4 Saturday night.
Rookie Miguel Cabrera had a single, double, and homer as the Marlins beat Philadelphia for the second straight game and moved within four games of the Phillies in the race for the NL wild card spot.
Penny (7-6) allowed two runs -- one earned -- and five hits. He struck out six and walked three and left the game with a 5-2 lead.
Michael Tejera relieved Penny at the start of the eighth inning. He walked Jim Thome with one out and gave up a single to Bobby Abreu.
Nate Bump replaced Tejera and got Mike Lieberthal to hit a grounder to first. Derrick Lee threw to second for a force but shortstop Alex Gonzalez threw wildly to first allowing Thome to score and Lieberthal to move to second on the error.
