IF YOU GO Momentum International

The Momentum International 5K Race and Walk and 10K Wheelchair Race are open to all members of the local community, as well as world-class paralympic athletes from around the world.
Where: Start and finish at Pearson Park, Neshannock Township, Lawrence County.
When: 9 a.m. Saturday. Race number pickup is from 7 to 8:45 a.m. in Pearson Park.
Entry fee: $15 for race day registration; $10 for boys and girls under 15.
Divisions: Wheelchair division will feature athletes from around the world and in a 10K (6.2-mile) race. The 5K (3.1-mile) running division will be open to all ages and abilities. The children's division is a 0.2-mile fun run for children age 10 and younger. There will also be a 5K walk.
Prizes: The top three male and female finishers in the 5K race will receive $150, $100 and $50 prize money. The top three male and female finishers in each division will receive medals.
Donations: Additional donations may be made to Momentum International Inc.
T-shirts: First 300 entrants will receive a commemorative Momentum T-shirt.

Other events: A Latin American folklore festival featuring music, dance and food will follow the race.
