Liberty Township Assn. -- invites all community youth all-star teams to participate in its tournament for boys 9 & amp; 10 and 11 & amp; 12. The tournament is for all-star-only teams from Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties and western Pennsylvania. League directors should contact Brett Fine at (330) 759-8091. Deadline is July 6.
Canfield Baseball Club -- will stage a tournament for community all-star teams from July 11-25 for players ages 7-12. Draw is today at 7 p.m. at McCune Park. Ages are 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12. Liberty High School -- will hold tryouts at 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 4-5 at Pine Lakes. Athletes must have a physical to try out for the team.
