Nursing scholarships

Nursing scholarships
The St. Elizabeth Development Foundation has awarded 22 nursing scholarships totaling $24,750 for the 2003-04 academic year, in support of two scholarship programs for advanced nursing education. The original program, now in its sixth year, awarded 21 nursing scholarships to Humility of Mary Health Partners employees and family members for use at Youngstown State and Kent State universities.
The second program, in its first year, awarded a scholarship to a person from the community who is planning to attend the nursing program at Mercy College of Northeast Ohio St. Elizabeth Campus. This nursing scholarship program was created in memory of the late Kay M. Hunt, to honor her life and the integral role she played in the development of the Mercy College program.
