Friday morning: Live national broadcast of Tom Joyner Sky Show radio program, 6-10 a.m., Edward W. Powers Auditorium, 260 W. Federal St. Musical guest will be Ohio Players, featuring Billy Beck of Youngstown. Admission is free, and seating is first come, first served.
Friday afternoon: WRBP 10th Year Anniversary Luncheon, noon-2 p.m., Buckeye Elks Youth Center, 421 North Ave. Youth scholarships will be presented, and Frankie Halfacre will be honored for his 50 years in broadcasting. Cost is $15, and reservations are required.
Friday evening: WRBP 10th Anniversary Dance and Concert, 9 p.m., Buckeye Elks Youth Center. Featured musicians will be Willie Clayton and Jesse James. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
Saturday morning: Second annual Herb Washington 5K Family Fun Run/Walk, 8 a.m.-noon, Mill Creek Park; and Citywide Health Fair, 9-2, Mill Creek Community Center, 496 Glenwood Ave. Free admission.
