ASSOCIATIONS
XAlliance Area Retired Teachers Association will hold a luncheon meeting at noon July 18 at the Alliance Senior Citizens Center. Nancy Fugelberg will give the program, "A Tribute to Heroes." AUXILIARIES
XVFW Post 3307 Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. July 16 at the post home.
XWRCS Volunteer Auxiliary will hold a picnic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 17 at the Elton Beard Log Cabin in Boardman Township Park. Cost is $7 per person, and on the menu will be roast beef and ham, tuna and chicken salad, baked beans, tossed salad, bread and butter, beverage and dessert. Checks should be mailed to Agnes Krut c/o Volunteer Services Department, Forum Health Northside Medical Center, 500 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, Ohio 44501. Guests are welcome.
CLUBS
XWarren Women's Connection will hold a "Light Up Your Day" brunch from 9:30 to 11 a.m. July 14 at the Avalon Inn, Howland. Sandy Bartz and Dona Hewitt will be on the program as speaker and soloist, respectively. Cost is $8.50, and a free nursery will be available. SINGLES
XCatholic Alumni Club of Youngstown Inc., a nonprofit organization open to Catholic singles, will attend a festival and fireworks display July 12 in New Castle, Pa. For meeting time and other details call (724) 652-9188. Dinner and dancing are planned July 26 at C.W. Dandy's at Sharon's Premiere Hotel (formerly the Holiday Inn) in Hermitage, Pa. SUPPORT GROUPS
XFred Childress Greater Mahoning Valley Parkinson's Support Group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. July 12 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church. Hostesses will be Mary Fagert, Virginia Pallotta, Gertie Dudley and Verna Bowman. Maria Pimpinella will serve as cook. Reservations must be made by Saturday, and one meal per family membership will be free of charge. Additional meals will be $6 each. Call Mrs. Bowman at (330) 549-2600. The lunch bunch will meet at 11:30 a.m. July 24 at TJ's in Boardman Holiday Inn.
