ABWA Chapter marks 48th anniversary

CANFIELD -- Youngstown Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association held its 48th anniversary celebration May 27 at A La Carte Catering.
Toastmistress was Marge Telego, and entertainment was provided by John Stephen Bloom's Magic and Illusions.
Susan Morell was announced as the organization's Woman of the Year for 2003. Morell has served as the chapter's president for the past two years and as chairwoman of many committees.
The following members were honored for perfect attendance: Gladys Luth, 39 years; Myra Mirich, 35 years; Jean Backman, 27 years; Patty Coogan and Mary Ann Rushton, 16 years; June Balint and Betty Mirich, nine years; Mary Morell and Susan Morell, three years; and Joan Morell, two years.
The event was organized by Myra Mirich, Betty Mirich and Marge Telego.
