MARIA RAMUNNOPATRICK HARKINS
XSTRUTHERS -- St. Nicholas Church was the setting at 2 p.m. June 7 as the Rev. Phillip Rogers officiated for the wedding of Maria Elena Ramunno, daughter of Salvatore and Gayla Ramunno, Struthers, and Capt. Patrick Koll Harkins, son of retired Col. Gerald and Susan Harkins, Round Rock, Texas.
A reception followed at The Georgetown in Boardman, and the couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. They live at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
A white satin gown was worn by the bride. It featured a scalloped square neckline and long bell sleeves, and was enhanced with sequins, pearls and lace. The skirt flowed to a cathedral train.
Erica Fischer was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Elisa Ramunno, JoAnna Bosnjak, Lisa Juratovic, Nicole Canter, Jessica Tkach and Ashleigh Reese. They wore ice-blue gowns. Flower girls were Alyssa DiLullo and Olivia Primavera.
Best man was Greg Harkins, and groomsmen were Giuseppe Ramunno, Eric Fegley, Matthew MacNeilly, Edgar Jiminez, Robert Garborino and Ezekiel Harvey. Jacob Harkins, was ring bearer, and ushers were Than Van Le, William Hampton and Andrew Clements.
Mrs. Harkins holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Youngstown State University and was assistant manager at The Added Touch in Boardman prior to her marriage.
Her husband graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He is a ranger instructor at the 6th RTB Ranger Camp in Florida.
