XNEGRIL, Jamaica-- The beach at Sandal's Resort was the setting at 3:30 p.m. May 31 for the wedding of Lisa A. Russo and Ian R. Boykin, both of 8791 Creekscape Lane, Cincinnati.
The Rev. Joseph Campbell presided at the ceremony, and a reception was held afterward in the gardens at the resort.
Twenty family members traveled to Jamaica for the wedding and vacationed in Negril, where the couple spent their honeymoon.
The bride is a daughter of Eve L. Russo, 244 Wolcott Drive, Boardman, and the late Angelo D. Russo. Parents of the groom are J. Stanley and Roxia B. Boykin, 478 Overlook Drive, Kent.
The bride's two-piece white silk and viscose sheath gown featured a crystal beaded bodice, a lace-up back and a kick train. Her veil was gathered to a crystal tiara, and she held a cluster of lavender roses.
Lori Campbell of Boardman was her sister's honor attendant. She wore a blush-colored gown with floral appliques.
The duties of best man were performed by Alfred Riddick of Cincinnati.
The bride is a graduate of Ohio University at Athens, where she earned a bachelor's degree in education and English. The groom graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in criminal Justice.
They are employed by Glaxo Smith Kline Pharmaceuticals of Cincinnati, where she is an executive pharmaceutical consultant and he is a hospital therapeutic specialist.
